What is a Network Operations Center?
The (NOC) Network Operations Center is a centre where the company and its employees can provide round-the-clock monitoring, which helps to monitor and manage services, databases, external services, firewalls, and the network.

 Thus, NOC is the basis for the nervous system of the company. When it comes to security, NOC is the first line of defence against any attacks or disruptions that an organization or organization may suffer through its telecommunications networks.

They monitor all tickets and events entering the NOC and distribute them according to their importance and priority to ensure that the most important tasks accomplished as quickly as possible. It ensures that there are no minor problems with the corporate network.

Skills needed to run an Enterprise

As with any job, there are specific skills that NOC employees need to ensure they are working correctly at all times:

Incident management - Mastery of the management of all accidents that occur on the NOC or the corporate network.

Documentation - Must be competent in documenting problems, reports, etc. to make sure things get resolved quickly.

Monitoring infrastructure: you need to know the internal functioning and functionality of the NOC infrastructure to be able to watch it accurately for problems.

Use experience - Must be proficient in NOC experiences

You understand routing/modification very well - Must know how to route information and be able to change course if necessary

Monitoring systems - Must be competent on how to monitor systems and what to look for

Reports - Must be able to report different aspects of a network correctly.

Understanding the basics of SAN - Skill in understanding the basics of SAN

Follow-up Problems - Ability to following/tracking problems found in NOC

Troubleshooting - Network skills and knowledge and how to solve various problems

Overall, if a NOC is to work effectively, it works properly. NOC Shift supervisors, technicians, and engineers must have extensive knowledge of policies and technical issues to do their job effectively for the companies that use them. Networks should be available for monitoring 24 hours a day, making sure they always work well for their customers.
